North Carolina Aquarium

We had such a fun weekend taking a day trip to the North Carolina Aquarium. Austin's friend, Lewis, was able to join us for this day as well. All three of our kids LOVE learning about animals so it was time to explore an aquarium.

I think the kids like going home better than anything because they just love to fly down this hill.

Twice this week we have taken off to simply explore our neighborhood. We usually end up going on the trail behind the neighborhood pool. It has a pond, with ducks, and place to walk in the trees. For some reason the kids would rather ride their scooters than bikes right now.

Gorgeous Weather!

It's been in the low 70's this week and the kids have made their lunches and headed outside for a picnic. They will often catch me on the deck with my eyes clothes soaking in the day as well. We are loving this week!

Globe Trotters

So Brian goes to church this morning, as usual, and a worship team member asks Brian if he wants 'suite tickets' and VIP parking to see the Globe Trotters this afternoon. Well.....yeah, you bet! So he took Lindsey, Austin and Austin Wiggs to it this afternoon and had a great time. He is also the guy that won us a week-long trip to London, England 9 years ago. I wish some of that would rub off on me. I can't even remember winning anything. Oh well........

Weekend Company

Our friends, Honey Beth and Dale, needed to go to a conference this weekend and asked if we could take care of their kids. We jumped at the opportunity and had fun being a home with 5 kids for 2 days. The weather was gorgeous and the kids took over the cul de sac. We still fit in our 3 kids swim lessons and Lindsey's soccer practice. Austin and Ashlyn are wonderful children and we all had so much fun!
