While Beth and I relaxed at the hotel, the afternoon before 'race day', the kids got a huge treat of going to the Outer Banks Sand Dunes with Brian and Anthony. No other words really needed....they were in 'kid heaven'. The Dads were too....

BEAUTIFUL! In all my years of living in NC, I've never been to OBX. Maybe I'll be healed up enough to run that race next year, so I'll finally have an excuse to hit the outer banks instead of always going to the same beaches. I'm so glad everyone had such a great time.

BTW, in case B. forgets to tell you: we hit a squirrel on the way to church this AM... & we hit one last Sunday on the way!
