This trip was all about "big". The biggest mall in America and the biggest Aquarium in the country. Here are some pictures of the Aquarium in Mall of America. Austin, our big animal lover, was just in heaven as were all the kids. It was amazing to go into this tunnel and have sharks and other sea creatures swimming above our heads.
We also took a 'behind the scenes' tour and had the opportunity to learn much about how an aquarium is run, what each animal eats (the kitchen had a terrible smell as you can imagine). We were able to go above the water and see where they care for the injured animals (we weren't allowed to take pictures in these rooms). It gave the kids a great opportunity to ask a knowledgeable person questions and was very worth it.
I will not share what is in these jars....trust me that you are very happy about that. :)
