It was the funniest thing. Austin, Lindsey, Reece and I were settling down - on the couch - to read a zoo book about bats. All of a sudden Austin shouts: "IT'S SNOWING!" Oh me of little faith says: "No it's not." But the temptation was too strong and I had to peek out the window. Sure enough we were having "flurries". So, in the midst of our Science reading, we jumped up and ran to the deck and here are the kids enjoying the '2 minute snow flurry'. :) (If you look close enough -there really are snow flakes on Lindsey's hair)

We saw it but by the time the girls put on shoes, socks and jackets the flurries were gone. They were so disappointed!
i totally missed this today!!! i guess i wasn't looking out the window at the right time!
Unfortunately, we had more than just a few flurries here.
Hey,
We got 3 1/2 inches of those snow flakes yesterday, most of it is still on the ground. I'll try to save some of it for you until Christmas since you like it so much.
Granddad
I just don't have that excitement over snow anymore. Ohio. Blah. (Although being a teacher again will bring snow days!! That's when the excitement begins!!!)
P.S. Ok, I admit...it really is pretty when watching the snow fall...as long as I am inside all warm and toasty!!
