Supper time bliss

Yep....this picture is not too easy to undertand - or really see with all of the 'white' going on. But this picture (along with the white slowcooker in back) is such an exciting thing to our family and has been a blessing for a couple of weeks. These are freezer meals that I made with the ladies from my life class. Jen hosted, organized, and bought all the food for us to make 7 meals for our families. I've never seen so many chicken breasts in my life! The early prep gals arrived at 6p.m. and the rest of us came at 7p.m. We assembled our meals (with a partner) at 7 different stations and were pretty much done by 9p.m. I was a part of the clean up crew and yet was home by around 10p.m. Thanks SO MUCH Jen - for organizing this!

Of course, you have the instructions for each of these dishes? How long to bake, etc?

Yep...we do have the instructions for everything. My partner and I had even put our names on all of our bags. The (big) mistake we made is we forgot to label what was in each of the bags. Fortunately, when we were done, we could recognize various ingredients. "There is some red sauce in here so it must be the 'Salsa Dump Chicken' ". Yep....that could have been a big problem.

Sounds like a smaller version of the once-a-month cooking.
